Visit Grey Towers Online

A new web-based virtual tour of Grey Towers National Historic Site is available to be viewed online.  Provided by the U.S. Forest Service, visitors can ‘walk’ through the landscaped gardens of this 102 acre estate as well as the 44-room French Chateauesque stone mansion once home to forester, eminent conservationist and Pennsylvania Governor Gifford Pinchot.  The virtual tour will provide glimpses of areas not usually shown to the public on daily tours, and also captures the exquisite views from the mansion’s terraced lawns, manicured gardens and landscape features.  This year marks Pinchot’s 150th birthday commemoration with a variety of programs planned to call attention to his professional and private accomplishments.  For more information, please call 570-296-9630 or email: greytowers@fs.fed.us.
